GERARD S. PITCHFORD, Senior Advisor: Natural Resources
Mr. Pitchford has an extensive commodity, natural resource and general business development background. The Founder & President of American Renewable Fuels International – a commodities brokerage firm that specializes in Sugar and Ethanol; while in the process developing an operation with regard to LNG, Gasoline, Asphalt and D2 Diesel Fuel. Through ARFI, He has built a network of sugar suppliers and refinery owners as well as buyers in the U.S. and Canada. A successful entrepreneur and executive with over 30 years of general business experience, Mr. Pitchford’s skills encompass the following: marketing & sales strategy, contract development, public relations & human resource planning. Well established in South America, Mr. Pitchford has developed and maintains significant political and business relationships in Brazil (i.e. Petrobras). Through his prior company, Trendsetters Travel & Tours, he developed considerable experience and relationships with regard to promoting Brazilian tourism which laid the groundwork for his entry into the natural resource and commodity industry sectors. He is CMP’s primary business development and import/export advisor for Brazil. Mr. Pitchford has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Upsala College, East Orange, NJ. He resides in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
