A Founder and Managing Partner of Corsair Merchant Partners, Corsair Merchant Partners Group & Corsair Advisory Partners Group, Mr. Hayden has been successful in Managing, Directing and performing Business Development for organizations on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 companies. His engineering development work has currently earned 12 patents with more pending.  Engineering and Business Development being his skill and passion, Mr. Hayden spends a great amount of time developing concepts for unique systems that heavily incorporate a customer’s objective. With 34 years of senior management experience, he has developed insights into business models across more than 10 different high-tech markets.  Mr. Hayden holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (ASME) from Norwalk State Technical College. He attended the University of Bridgeport (BSME program) and received a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at the Bridgeport Engineering Institute (now Fairfield University School of Engineering). Mark also attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) MSME program, and the Sacred Heart University MBA program.  Business experience includes but not limited to the followingE.I. Senior Product Development Engineer, New Revolutionary Bio-Medical Product Development, Ultra High Speed Centrifuges, Microtome’s, Glass Knife Maker, High Drives and Controls, Revolutionary Centrifuge Rotors, Ultra High Pressure Sealing Devices, Heat and Cooling Systems, Vacuum Systems, etc., awarded twelve (12) Patents. Hayden Associates, Automation Design Engineer, Special Automation Machinery Development for Industrial Applications, Turn Key Design and BuildBIC Pen Corporation, Senior Automation Design Engineer, Directed Designed and Development of Standard Pen Assembly Still being manufactured today, Lighter Body Feeder, New Lighter Valve became standard to prevent unexpected flame height.  Schick Safety Razor (Div. of Warner Lambert), Senior Project Engineer, conceived and developed High Speed Continuous Motion Razor Assembly, Inspection and Packaging Equipment (1,300. parts per minute).  At the time the state of art resulted in a maximum rate was 120 razors per minute.  Directed $ 12M dollar new Product Program which resulted in (6) monthearlier introduction of Product.  Introduced new technologies that advanced the level of technology ten (10) to fifteen (15) years.  In addition, Mr. Hayden has provided various technology, business development and general consulting services to the following companies: GE Aerospace, Westinghouse Electric, GKN, Craftsman Tools, Alcoa Aerospace, Philip Morris, General Foods, United Technologies, BMW, Ford, General Motors, Boeing Aerospace, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Post Office
